things to do
Go to a beach club - Its hot, it’s Majorca soooo get your butt to a beach club (see picture on the left). There’s a great beach club either end of the beach.
Check out the Cathedral - Huge stunning Cathedral down near the sea. Definitely worth checking out. (See picture above)
Check out the Palace - Right beside the Cathedral the palace and grounds surrounding are stunning. (see pictures down the bottom)
Walk through the Old Town - Palma is a beautiful city with cobbly streets, shops, squares and of course las rambla so make sure and take a few hours to stroll about. If your tired stop and get a beer, it’s pretty cheap!
food & DRink
El Camino - Make sure and reserve! Fantastic tapas restaurant, highly recommended by locals and regular holiday makers. (see picture)
Palma Market - Gotta love a market and the food market in Palma doesn’t disappoint. Loads of choice, including the staple tapas bars, meat, cheese, vegetables and…a fantastic coffee stall! (see pictures at the bottom)
Forn des Teatre - The most picturesque bakery you’re likely to see! Go take some photos and get some classic spanish cake! (see picture below)
Abaco - Lovely cocktail bar with classical music, very well dressed waiters inside a very grand building with a regal garden. Ok the garden is a little tacky, but it’s fun and the rest is very impressive. (see picture below)
