things to do

  1. Grab a scooter! - It’s fun, great for sight seeing and cheap. Malaga is a decent size, but with one of these you can get around it in one day no problem!

  2. Go to the Castle - Malaga’s castle (see pictures at bottom) has loads of unique little areas and well preserved rooms so is well worth a visit and when you get to the top there’s stunning views!

  3. Get to the beach - Lovely beach (see picture above), with great beach bars so head down and have some fun in the sun!

  4. Rooftop bar - We went to the AC Hotel Malaga Palacio . Stunning views (see picture at bottom), 8 euros to get in, but a free cocktail so all good 😊👍. Also had a pool and some great tunes.

  5. Stroll around the old town - Have a look round the old streets and beautiful Plaza’s of Malaga (picture at bottom), do your own wee tapas and cerveza tour!

my airbnb

Apartment in Plaza Merced - Fantastic location and very cheap. Definitely value for money and I would say mainly would suit a group of friends looking for a place with a great location, not wanting to spend much and not fussed about staying anywhere too fancy. Plenty beds and rooms and the living room with balconies is great. The view in the evening over the Plaza (see picture) is fantastic.
