things to do

National Sea Life Centre - Amazing place, with phenomenal animals especially one in particular, BIG MO the sea turtle (see picture). I mean he’s just huge! Look at my wee head.

Jump on a Canal boat - More canals than venice? Surely not! It does, so jump on a wee canal boat and tour the city. Drinks on board too 🍻

Party on Broad Street - Not everyone’s cup of tea, but if you want a silly fun night out, then start at the canal and head up broad street its a mad, cheesy, with plenty pubs, clubs, takeaways and even the odd casino.

food & Drink

Go down the canal - Loads of good spots down by the canal, for gin lovers head to The Gin Vault. Old school pub, then had to The Malt House (see picture at bottom). Brindley Place in general has quite a few and down Gas street there’s some lovely pubs. The final place I’d recommend is the Mailbox, loads of places to eat and drink and there’s even a Marco Pierre rooftop restaurant, wee bit pricey, but it is a top steakhouse and cocktail bar looking over the city. (see picture).
